Alienated surfaces and structures create a mutual dialogue between the materials, which are often allday objects or collected finds. The process begins with finding things in supposedly dead or overgrown spaces and ends in unknown transformations that attempt to depict the cultural „now“. In doing so, I examine the current processes of approach and dissolution of man and nature.
I can live in a living room is the song „I can`t live in a living room“ borrowed, which was published in 1980 by Red Zebra. A year and a time in which solidified, social structures were broken up and new values found their way into politics.
Here the „living room“ describes a real space, a socio-social condition, as well as an inner space.
